1. A brief overview of the host country is provided alongside with two specific challenges from an organisation and / or individual perspective that could be encountered by the expatriate who is selected for the international assignment.

2. Advice is given to the organization on the challenges identified, for example the following may be considered, the benefit of sending an organisational expatriate (OE) rather than a self-initiated expatriate (SIE); appropriate selection criteria and selection methods; an appropriate compensation and benefits package; or a detailed outline which include pre-departure, post arrival training and the associated benefits etc.
