Companies run the risk of "me-too" support of worthy causes.  If a cause has traction in the target market segment, other organizations might be tempted to throw their support behind the charitable opportunities.

We often observe that too many organizations begin to support hot charities. Your original contributions and efforts might get lost.

How would you make sure you receive the most benefit from a charitable relationship?  Or, should this even be a consideration?  What do you think?
