Jerry owes Mary $2000. He doesn't have the money to pay her. He tells his friend, Bob, about his dilemma. Bob enters a contract with Jerry in which Bob agrees to pay Jerry's debt of $2000 to Mary, in return for Jerry's promise to give Bob's children guitar lessons for the next year.
