It is true that it is beneficial for corporate strategy and organizational goals to be aligned to ensure long term success. Furthermore, all employees must be aware and dedicated to the same overall goal so that there is an understanding of the expectations that are needed. Unfortunately, there have been a number of scenarios when the top level of management may have a different set of goals that the lower level of management and there was a failure to communicate these goals for a general understanding and consensus. This is an example of how there may be a lack of dedication to the same overall goals. However, if everyone was made aware of the changes, then there would have been an opportunity to further discuss to allow everyone to be on board to work on going the extra mile to succeed. Your thoughts?
