1. For subjects with a risk factor, the odds are 5 to 4 in favor of being diagnosed with cancer at some point.

For subjects without the risk factor, the odds are 2 to 3 in favor of being diagnosed with cancer at some point.

A. For those with the risk factor, the probability of being diagnosed with cancer is 4/9 = 0.4444 and the odds of being diagnosed with cancer are 5/4=1.25. 

B. For those with the risk factor, the probability of being diagnosed with cancer is 5/9 = 0.5556 and the odds of being diagnosed with cancer are 5/4=1.25. 

C. For those with the risk factor, the probability of being diagnosed with cancer is 4/5 = 0.8 and the odds of being diagnosed with cancer are 5/4=1.25.
