In the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), one of the questions asked to assess depression is "Has a doctor, nurse, or other health professional ever told you that you have a depressive disorder including depression, major depression, dysthymia, or minor depression?", with yes/no response options.

In the year 2018, 1166 Rhode Islanders replied "Yes", whereas 4408 replied "No".

In the year 2017, 1315 responded "Yes" and 4287 responded "No"

Answer the following (please show your work and not just the final answer): 1.5*4=6

a. Among Rhode Islanders who responded to this particular question in 2018, compute the proportion that were told that they have a depressive disorder. Express your answer in %.

b.Compute the ratio between the number of Rhode Islanders who self-reported, in 2017, that they were informed of having a depressive disorder to the number of Rhode Islanders who were not told that they had a depressive disorder.

c. Compute the ratio of the number Rhode Islanders who self-reported that they were informed of having a depressive disorder in the year 2018 to those who reported the same in the year 2017.

d. In which of the two years did a higher proportion of responders report that they were told that they have a depressive disorder.
