Nick happens to be an amateur statistician in his free time. To get an idea of the popularity of sports cards, he does a simple random sample of all cities with populations of at least 50,000 and determines the number of sports cards shops in each city. He samples 20 cities and finds the average number of card shops to be 1.7. A popular sports card magazine reports that, historically, the standard deviation of the number of shops in large cities is 0.4. Answer the following:

A) Before doing any analysis, what can Nick do to evaluate whether the data is normally distributed?

B) Find a 95% confidence interval for the true mean number of card shops in large cities.

C) Interpret your confidence interval in part B.
