This is discussion forums - Using the basic tools of creativity (NOT COGNITION) choose one of the following below:

1. Make a new logo for the Cougar's Women's Volleyball Team

2. Design a new way for preparing AND/OR eating an extremely well known food (hamburgers, hot dogs, naan, perogies, pizza, etc).

3. Come up with the most creative way to convince one's parents to buy a rare and perhaps dangerous or inconvenient animal for a household pet: provide a set of guidelines relevant to a ten year old child.

Besides the work on showing your creativity (narrative, illustrative, other), you must have the following in your report:

1. Consider the aspects of creativity that you have learned thus far:

- comparisons - contexts, similies, analogies, metaphors

- measures of creativity - fluency, flexibility, uniqueness, elaboration

- what creativity is not (cognitive functioning such as the theory of planned behavior, system 1 and system 2 thinking, and cognitive heuristics); please cite any internal or external course materials. Citations to external work will get you higher marks (if relevant).

2. Set out a detailed process that incorporates the above to generate a creative outcome. In other words, 1) describe your thinking, steps and processes and cite some of the work you've read thus far as to how you went about solving one of the problems above and then provide as highly creative an outcome for one of the three choices above.
