Analyzing social behaviour

How does out mental wellbeing influence our lives?

-Does feeling sad increase our spending habits?

-Does emotional unhappiness cause physical pain?

-Is there an in influence between lying and gender?

To answer the above questions you have been given three data sets (i) the sadness/neutral data (ii) social rejection/brain activity data and (iii) high school lying data.

Speci cally:

(i) Does mean spending increase if someone is sad?
(ii) Does brain activity increase with the level of social rejection?
(iii) Is there an association between gender and whether a student has (repoted) lying to a teacher? Can we infer from the data that females are more likely to lie to their teacher?
