Jennifer was very disturbed by this revelation and promised the employee she would look into it and discuss the situation with her father. In the car heading back to headquarters she began mulling over what Carter Cleaning Company's alternatives might be. Evaluate the handling of the conflict. -CASE2 : Sameera, a bank teller, received $ 10,000 for deposit. Without bothering to put the cash in her drawer, she left her cage twice to see the chief teller regarding some payroll checks. The $ 10,000 pile was left exposed on her counter; it was pay day and depositors were milling around. When she returned to her cage she discovered that $ 5,000 was missing from the pile; this was never found. Considering that under the bank's Teller's Manual of Operations cash should never be left exposed, may Sameera be validly dismissed? Justify.

-The Malika Garments Factory, a manufacturer and exporter of jeans, has a 3-shift work schedule but maintains a policy of not assigning women sewers to work in the third shift from 10:00pm to 6:00am the following day. This policy is assailed as discriminatory by women sewers who want to work in the third shift and get the night shift differential. Is the policy discriminatory? Why?
