Your task:

Imagine that an organization is badly in need of improving the quality of their product. They do not have so called quality management system that ensures quality of their products. However, they try to maintain the quality of their products through 100% inspection and that is the definition of quality in that organization.

You have been appointed for helping the company to improve the quality of their products and you know that quality cannot be ensured by only inspection. The entire organizational culture and management system has to be changed.

You need to create a framework and provide guidelines for the imaginary company on how the quality of the product can be improved. Write a maximum 5-page (± quarter page) report which the company can use as the guideline to improve their quality management system to achieve better quality product.

Instruction:

Use all the knowledge (or even go beyond) that you got from the course to prepare the report. The report should be a guideline but every instruction that you give need to be supported by proper reasoning. For example, if you say focus on customers is needed then you have to explain why and how. Since the report will reflect on your way of achieving quality, it is not necessary to have references.
