One of the team members, Sheila, has not been participating and some have complained to your manager, LaToya. Two others on the team are friends with Sheila and defend her. LaToya has decided to move Sheila to another project and removed her from your team. She has asked you, as the team leader, to tell Sheila and the team that she is no longer part of the team. You must decide how you tell Sheila and your team. Which channel do you use - face-to-face, email, etc.? What would you say in the conversation or email to Sheila and the team? Provide a sample script or an email including the subject line.
2. As an employee at BUSCOM, you and your team were scheduled to fly to a company meeting in LA next weekend. One of your team members, Jorge, just confided to you that he has tested positive for COVID. He most likely contracted it before your team meeting yesterday that was in-person. Product A - a personalized coaching program is a great idea but is not viable and exceeds the budget. Product C - an AI program has not been reliable and has yielded poor results even though it is under budget. Send an email to the Product A Team and Product C Team to tell them their products were not chosen.
