This lab requires the classification of four soils using both AASIITO and Unified Classification Systems based on the given test results. The engineering properties of each soil are presented in the table below. Also required is the assessment of each soil's usefulness for the following applications (Table 5.2 in Coduto. et. al. might be helpful?):

a. Foundation material for a 3-story structure

b. Backfill material behind a bulkhead

c. Base Coarse for a pavement project

d. Core material in an earth dam

e. Shell material in an earth dam

Present the methodology for classification and choice in material in the report.
