Two identical gas cylinders. One contains the diatomic gas nitrogen (N2), and the other contains an equal mass of the diatomic gas oxygen (O2). The pressures in the cylinders are the same, but the temperatures are different. Determine the ratio KEN2/KEO2of the average kinetic energy of a molecule of nitrogen to the average kinetic energy of a molecule of oxygen.
