Autonomy regularly conflicts with other principles and may be outweighed in some circumstances. Are there any circumstances (in a context related to biomedical ethics) when a different principle might be more important than autonomy?

If so, describe at least one such circumstance, the principle(s) that would outweigh autonomy in that circumstance, and why that principle (or those principles) would outweigh autonomy in that circumstance. If not, why not? Provide justification for your reasoning.

In your response, reference relevant information from Chapter 6: "Autonomy, Capacity, and Competence," and refer to Beauchamp and Childress's four essential principles (i.e., autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice) within the discussion of Principlism in Section 2.5.8 of Chapter 2 to support your position. If you're arguing that there is no possible circumstance when a different principle might be more important than autonomy, why would autonomy always trump the other principles? If you're arguing that there are possible circumstances when a different principle might be more important than autonomy, describe one possible circumstance (as mentioned above), the principle(s) that would be more important than autonomy in that circumstance, and why the principle(s) would be more important than autonomy in that circumstance (as mentioned above).
