Julie is 35 years of age. She is currently caring for her eight-year-old daughter, Penny, who has autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and requires a great deal of assistance daily. Susie is unable to work and has stated to you that she feels like she is 'going nowhere'. She reports sleeping more than normal and has become quite anxious when she has to take Penny to appointments or to school. Julie has a background of anxiety and has been taking medication for this. She reports having minimal support networks and has concerns over her ability to meet financial commitments.
