To complete this assignment, you will need to:
1. Add to the Concept Grid (Appendix A Concept Grid from the draft essay).
You will need to add new words used to search for the final essay content.
Check draft essay feedback as well. A full and accurate list of concepts is required.
The Concept Grid for the final should include all concepts used for the draft and final essay.
This is a continuation of the Concept Grid started for the draft essay.
2. Add to the Search Strategy document (Appendix B Search Strategy from the draft).
Add/include how you found every resource/reference used within the essay to the Search Strategy sections.
The Search Strategy helps you plan and keep up with your searching and the sources found which become references and citations.
The Search Strategy also shows the marker the flow of concepts you researched (Concept Grid) to find the sources you used to paraphrase. These are then on the reference list and cited in the essay.
The Search Strategy template shows HOW you searched and where you found the sources used.
From the Search Strategy we can look at the reference list and the citations (which should be in almost every sentence of the paper).
3. If you did not have enough detail in the draft for some areas, then additional statistics, performance measures, comparison and/or contrast of health funding (for both countries) may be required to meet the depth requirement for this final assignment.
4. Include one direct quote (one sentence) from a credible source in your answer.
Cite and reference the quote correctly using APA 7th style.
The quote can be the same one used in the draft (cited correctly with page number), or you can choose to replace it with a new quote.
However, do not use more than one quote.
Paraphrase and cite all other content included in the essay.
5. Include and correctly cite and reference one table (or figure) from a credible source in your essay.
All words and numbers may need to be counted and added to the word count of the essay if MS Word does not count them for you.
Keep the table/figure small as it takes word count.
Refer to the table/figure in the paragraph above or below where you place it in the body of the essay.

6. Australia's Health 2020 and 2022
Consider elements covered in Australia's health 2020: Data insights: Australia's health series no. 17 when writing your answer. Include citations and reference.
Use this as one of your sources for a report.
You may also include Australia's Health 2022 if appropriate.
7. Sources.
Correctly cite and reference at least ten (10) credible sources, with at least six (6) sources being peer reviewed journal articles from the Curtin Library Database(s).
Other sources you can use include books or E-books, grey literature, and/or government reports.
Government reports tend to come from websites. You cannot directly use the website (even if it is considered credible), however, we do allow .pdf reports and data sets from credible websites.
Examples of credible websites (you must find .pdf or data sets from these sites):
The World Health Organization (WHO)
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)
The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW)
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
and equivalent government, non-governmental organisations (NGO's), and statistical bodies for your second country.
8. Correctly format your essay using the CMHL1000 APA 7th Formatting Guide (July 2023 version) provided in Assessment Resources on Blackboard.
Include word count for the entire essay. (Word count includes the first word of the title of your
essay (on page 3, above your introduction) to the last word of the conclusion.
All citations and table/figure information are included in the word count.
1500 words +/- 10% is allowed. Penalties apply for being outside of the allowed word count.
9. Correctly cite and reference your work using APA 7th referencing style provided on the library website and Assessment Resources on Blackboard.
We expect you to use the 750-words written in your Draft Written Assignment as part of the final essay submission
