Some people tend to become confused and over-simplify the depth involved with projects. Tasks can be simple or complex. However, they are not projects. Projects involve more people and time with sponsors, charters, etc. Sometimes we may view tasks as projects because we have not formally understood what is considered a project based upon the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge).
