Develop a process to assess the attitudes of employees regarding unionization. In your assessment, include the following:

  1. Important factors such as management involvement, using a management-oriented consultant.
  2. Communication strategies that would influence workers to avoid unionization.
  3. Whether the literature suggests that wages, benefits, or working conditions are not the only issues needing to be addressed. Explain what other issues may entail, if applicable.
  4. Why do you think that unions are often successful in appealing to the fears of workers?
  5. There are many situations in which workers are feeling less secure as well as facing economic problems based on falling wages and employee benefits. Determine whether worker motivation will increase or decrease as a result of unionization.
  6. Explore the safety and well-being aspects management must consider in addition to wage considerations and provide examples.

In addition, prepare a handout suitable for distribution to the employees of your organization. Address the following in your handout:

  1. Outline the pros and cons of establishing a treaty with a union and how the company plans to improve employee morale.
  2. Provide specific examples where appropriate.

You may prepare this visual aid in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, or any other software program. Support your paper with a minimum of three resources, which may include your required text. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
