Present a 7 to 10-minute synopsis of an interview with a colleague or a friend who is working with Data Analytics, Big Data, Tableau, or Data Visualization.

So let's talk briefly about data analytics.

Companies that pay attention to the evolving business environment have gained tremendous competitive advantages. I have designed a course that focuses on big data, visualization, and collaboration between you and your classmates. Now that there are people qualified to manipulate data in the workforce, companies have become interested in making money with big data.

Tableau, the leading data visualization tool, provides the right framework for discovering and understanding big data insights. We will work on:

asking better questions of the business data and

making better decisions based on business data.

Think for a few minutes about the companies you interact with that would not exist without big data such as Netflix, Trivago, Uber, and Foursquare. Now you just realized that you do know many people who work with big data or how to enjoy activities that would not be possible without big data.

Ask your interviewee:

What she or he does for a living and find out what he or she is doing with Data Analytics, Big Data, Tableau or Data Visualization;

How does this person conduct research to obtain intelligence in his or her field?
