A tube of varying radius is open to the atmosphere at both ends as shown. When air is blown through the tube, it is observed that the beaker of mercury below begins to climb up the attached pipe. At what mass flow rate (i.e. kg/s) would air have to be blown through the tube for the mercury to climb all the way up the pipe and into the tube where the air is flowing? (Note: Density of air is 1.2kg/m3 and density of mercury is 13594kg/m3).
