At a playground, a toddler climbs on his bike starts to pedal away from his dad as fast as he can, at 12.6 km/h, towards a busy road that is 74.2 m away. At Δt=3.44 seconds later, his dad glances up from his phone and notices the escape, and starts running immediately after the toddler in the same direction. The dad is fast, but even with adrenaline, he can only run 10.82 m/s for short distances. At what distance from the road will the dad be able to catch up with the toddler? Express your answer in metres to three significant figures.
