I am assisting Mr. Matthew, who is a 40-year-old African American man with a brain injury, he has a history of alcohol and cocaine abuse, lung disease, and other problems. He has been arrested for theft. He is currently unemployed and living in a house alone, which belongs to a relative who brings him a meal on occasion. He has no bank account or Social Security Benefits. He is here today asking for assistance in applying for Social Security Benefits and Filing an Insurance claim.
