ASSIGNMENT - Program Design Method

Overview - For this assignment, refer to the scenario you selected in your assignment in Week 3.

In this assignment, you will complete the design of your selected program. Use your Caffarella text to look up the exhibits mentioned in this assignment.

Complete the following for your selected program:

1. Develop a program name, program goal, and three program objectives using Exhibit 7.1 as a model.

2. Create five learning objectives for your program using Exhibit 8A as a model.

3. Create instructional activities to meet at least three of the learning objectives you created. (Factors to be considered when creating instructional activities can be found in Exhibit 8D. Examples of instructional activities can be found in Exhibit 8E.)

4. Explain how you will measure/assess your chosen instructional activities' effectiveness in meeting your chosen learning objectives. Discuss why you selected those assessment techniques. (Exhibit 8I provides examples of assessment techniques.)

5. Describe what you learned about designing programs from this assignment in one page.

6. Use at least four quality peer-reviewed academic resources written within the past five years. Note: Wikipedia and similar websites do not qualify as academic resources.

The specific course learning outcome associated with this assignment is: evelop a plan for an educational program, including the program name, goals and objectives, as well as instructional activities and assessment techniques.
