Recruitment Strategy

The purpose of this strategy is to align the organizational objectives to the recruitment practices of the organization.  You may need to make some assumptions about the organization and its business based on information you are aware of and/or is available through public sources (including the mission, vision and values).

The Recruitment Strategy will include the following components:

  1. Executive summary
    1. This will include information about the organization (size, number of locations, etc.) and their mission, vision & values.
  2. Talent sourcing methods
    1. How do they find applicants?
      1. Internal? External? Posting? Word-of-mouth?
    2. Where do they typically advertise?
    3. Sample job ad/posting - previous or current that they have used (maximum 1 page, can be screenshot) 
  3. Screening methods
    1. What kind of screening do they do?
      1. Interviews - types of interviews and interview processes
      2. Tests - what type of testing do they do
      3. Other?
  4. Recommendation summary
    1. How is the final decision made?
    2. How could the process be changed to make better hiring decisions?
