Performance evaluation

Performance appraisal is one of the most difficult areas of responsibility for supervisors to master. This occurs because many of them do not prepare before doing them. In this assignment have the opportunity to make a presentation to new supervisors on this topic.

Instructions:

1. Describe the following aspects in the evaluation process:

a. Purpose of a performance review.

b. The role of the supervisor in the employee evaluation process.

c. Three (3) methods used in performance evaluation (detail them). Imagine that these supervisors know nothing about the subject.

d. As a conclusion, write five (5) tips that will enable them to properly prepare for a successful performance review.
