QUESTION 1

  • Achieving today's goals without jeopardizing the potential of future generations to achieve their own goals is what we mean by sustainability. An activity must be repeatable forever without hurting or depleting the resources it consumes in order to be considered sustainable .The activity in question is not sustainable because it is not ecologically sound. It uses resources that are not renewable, and it produces waste that cannot be safely disposed of.
  • This means that the activity will eventually damage the environment, and it will not be possible to continue doing it indefinitely. The activity is not sustainable because it is not economically viable. It costs more to do the activity than the benefits it provides. This means that eventually the activity will no longer be affordable and it will have to be stopped. The activity is not sustainable because it is not socially responsible.
  • It does not take into account the needs of other people, and it may cause problems for other people. This means that eventually the activity will cause more harm than good and it will have to be stopped. The activity is not sustainable because it is not ethical. It uses methods that are not humane, and it may cause suffering to animals. This means that eventually the activity will no longer be considered acceptable and it will have to be stopped.

QUESTION 2

  • The activity in question is not economically feasible because it costs more to do the activity than the benefits it provides. This means that eventually the activity will no longer be affordable, and it will have to be stopped. The activity costs money to do, but it does not provide enough benefits to justify the cost. This means that the activity is not a good investment, and it will eventually become too expensive to continue doing.
  • The activity might provide some benefits in the short-term, but in the long-term it will not be worth the cost. The activity might be affordable for some people, but for most people, it will not be. This means that the activity will eventually become inaccessible to most people, and it will have to be stopped. The activity might be affordable for a few people in the short-term, but in the long-term it will not be.

This means that eventually the activity will cause more harm than good and it will have to be stopped. The activity does not consider the needs of other people, and it may cause problems for them. This means that the activity is not fair, and it will eventually become a burden for those who have to deal with it.
  • The activity might provide some benefits in the short-term, but in the long-term it will not be worth the cost.
