Before you communicate the budget to your work team, you believe that in the current economic environment, your annual sales budget is too high and you seek to negotiate a reallocation of budgets between sales managers and reduce your budget to 2, 700,000 ( this would represent an individual sales budget of $900,000 per sales person) In this task you will be required to conduct a 5-minute negotiation meeting with your line manager to make required changes.
Negotiation Meeting
You will need a minimum of one participant to act as your line manager.
You will need to arrange for a person to act as your meeting participant.
Meeting participants:
You: Sales manager- You seek to negotiate a reduction in your sales budget.
Student: Line manager. Your line manager is responsible for the total sales of Perfect Plants which over $6,000,000. They believe your budget allocation is fair and will need convincing to change their mind.
