Exercise 1

Write database description (create schema and tables) for each of the relations shown in the figure below. When you create schema, please name it TA3TEAMID (e.g. TA3B181A). Assume the following attribute data types:

StudentID (integer, primary key); StudentName (25 characters); FacultyID (integer, primary key); FacultyName (25 characters); Course ID (8 characters, primary key); CourseName (15 characters); DateQualified (date); Section No (integer, primary key); Semester (7 characters, Primary key).

DO NOT ENTER DATA INTO THE TABLES YET

Exercise 2:

1. How would you add an attribute, Seniority that can contain only the following values (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) in the student table?
2. How would you remove the Registration Table? (you can type the code here)
3. How would you change the FacultyName field from 25 characters to 40? (you can type the code here)

Exercise 3:

1. Enter the values shown in the figure above for the Student Table. Please provide me with a screen capture of your code to add the values + the code and the result that shows the table with its values in it, sorted in reversed alphabetical order.
2. Please add student Lopez (ID: 65798) to the table (you can show me the code to do that here).
3. What would be the code to erase student Lopez from the table (you can type it here in Word)?
4. What would be the code to show the students who have a "2" in their StudentID (you can type it here in Word)?
5. What would be the code for showing the students whose name does NOT start with an "A"? Please use a NOT operator in your code (you can type the code here in Word).
