JOB DESCRIPTION FOR -: Deputy Manager - Inventory Management

Role details:

Role Definition

Support Buyers in managing optimum inventory levels in assigned product segment (product Bricks).

Role Summary

Responsible for determining the stock required for each product group at each stock point in the supply chain and optimize movement of inventory to ensure fill rates.

Position reports to

Senior Manager- SCM

Position to Interact With 

Sales/Supply Chain- Warehouse/ Vendors.

Qualification & experience

Commerce Graduate 

With a min 5-8 years of experience working in the Supply chain department for a product trading/ manufacturing company 

PGDMA (Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics & SCM) with 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

SUPPLY PLANNING -:

  • Control the obtainment interaction from introductory position of request to circle back to sellers for dispatches to essential dispersion to distribution warehouses guaranteeing proficient and sufficient progression of merchandise.
  • Established completed merchandise stock related to teaming up month to month quarterly moving estimate and stock renewal model.
  • Develop, measure and control stock levels SKU savvy/Vendor shrewd through stock arranging measurements.
  • Manage close to expiry and terminated things in a joint effort with clients and merchants.
  • Monitor Wall to divider count and cycle count at stockroom and resolve issues in compromise.

Order Management-:

  • Act as a SPOC for Customer
  • Should check rates, taxes, quantities etc., on the PO received from the clients.
  • Generate and break down week by week/Monthly MIS client astute/SKU insightful/Vendor savvy for on time fill rate and estimate risks.
  • Resolve Customer issue on need.
    Attending regular meetings with customer.

Vendor Management-:

  • Place Purchase Orders with Vendor and follow up for pick up.
    Having regular meeting with vendors.
    Resolving any payment issue.

Other Responsibilities-:

  • Maintain inbound cost and outbound billing price and tax structure SKU wise and regularly update with any contract revision with vendors.
  • Monitor inbound activities, put away, inventory consolidation, pick list generation and completing outbound activities in Warehouse management system.
  • Manage the complete flow of good starting with inbound from vendors till the time material reaches the customer delivery point.
    Support internal accounts team for reconciliation of Ledger of Vendors for smooth payment process.

  • This package with include the following: all questions for a job interview (questions to build rapport and questions about the skills needed for the job (KSAO's), e.g. behavioural based etc.)
  • It will also include the dialogue for the interviewer that is used at the start of the interview (information about the company, the job etc.)
  • Essentially a script is being prepared for the interviewer to follow
  • As well, a rating scale (with the ideal answer to the questions) will be required for 5 questions that are based on the skills (KSAO'S) of the job being applied for.
