TOPIC: Alzheimer's Disease

You need to find four useful references for the project (not including the book - though you can use the book as an additional for your project).  One of the four resources should be a short video or interactive tutorial.  Resources should be posted to the group's discussion board. Don't forget to add the resources.

Forming a Detailed Outline

From the syllabus - After resources are gathered, you should come up with an outline for your presentation.  It should include a clear introduction and conclusion.  It should educate the class on the relevant phenomenon, while going beyond the basic material in the textbook.  It should include interactive, multimedia elements (graphics, short videos- no more than 5 minutes-, interactive demonstrations).  The final outline should be uploaded to Moodle.

Requirement:

• Introduction (Clear introduction that sets up the topic and the focus of the presentation)
• Discussion of the Topic (For example, diagnostic criteria, prevalence (explain), etiology, treatment-medication or types of therapy; etc.)
• Includes appropriate references to resources (Embed your resources into the outline so it is apparent where they will be used.  You should use multimedia resources that help to explain the topic - appropriate images, videos, or interactive demonstrations.  This DOES NOT mean clip art.  Typically clip art does not help us understand the topic, and it often detracts from the presentation.)
• Detail level is appropriate (It should be clear from your outline what you will cover under each subtopic.  Include a sentence or two for each.)
• Professional (Clear, organized, and free of errors)
• Conclusion (Clear conclusion that "wraps up" the topic)
