Friday - Report Scenario 

PACE management is setting tuition and fees for international students for the 2023-24 term. They have hired your consulting firm to help them better understand some of the costs associated with moving to and living in Manitoba. Their current plan is to increase tuition fees by 8.5%. They are seeking recommendations from your firm, based off of your research. Should they have an increase? If yes, how much would you recommend? 

Some of the items they would like you to consider are:

  • Study Fees (other than tuition) 
  • Day Care
  • Utilities (internet, hydro, water)
  • Books
  • Minimum wage
  • Insurance
  • Food
  • Accommodation: Students' dorm at UofW (prices, what is included, living conditions, location, food, etc.)
  • Transport
  • Taxes (GST)
