Assignment - Development by Example Paragraph

To practice developing examples that will strengthen your essay, try this activity. Select an important principle by which you live your life. It could be anything that informs your decision-making processes. It could be as simple as "waste not, want not."

Next, think about what that principle really means. How would you explain it to someone else? In other words, how would you elaborate on the idea to make it clear to a listener or reader?

Now begin to quickly list concise examples of that principle in action. When have you seen it proven true in your own life? What about in the lives of others?

Finally, select the two or three examples that you feel best illustrate the truth of this principle and work to develop those illustrations into detailed extended examples.

Remember that your essay needs to be in 1st person point of view.

Write a substantial paragraph, a minimum of 10 sentences, with the examples as your thesis statement (the last sentence of your introduction).

Your assignment needs to have an APA title page and name your example with a title of your topic. 7th edition template below if needed.

Note - Need 10 sentences with the examples as your thesis statement. Need 300 words + title page + references with in-text citations.
