Assessment 2(a)- Learning Contract Proposal

This requires you to submit a learning contract proposal that will form the basis of your learning contract report. This must be prepared and submitted in the first couple of weeks of semester. See 'Part A: Developing your learning contract proposal' provided later in this Subject Outline.

Your topic must come from one of the following three areas:

1. The environmental context of management 
2. Ethics and social responsibility 
3. Managing diversity/ Workplace diversity

This proposal is graded (10%). It needs to be approved by your Subject Coordinator.

Rationale

This assessment allows you to choose a leadership issue that is of interest and relevance to you to enable you to be more effective in your current role or in a future career role.

Marking criteria

Assessment 2(a)
• Clear statement of learning goal
• Justification of learning goal
• Initial action plan outlining how goal is to be achieved
