Assignment:

Write it outlining the workforce plan that you would intend for your organization (this can be an organization that you are part of or that you have seen information about, through resources such as our textbook or online, and would potentially like to be part of, in the future). Use the part of the organization that you are most familiar with. It could be a division, section, or team. It is not necessary to assess the entire organization.

It Must Contain:

1. The organization's overall strategy(pick one department of the company and base all the questions on that, for example HR)

2. The direction of the business

3. Analysis of the workforce (highlighting critical positions.)

4. Assess the workforce needs in the future based on the direction of the business

5. Assess where the organization might go to fill the needs (contract workers, new hiring, acquisition, etc.) This may include ideas on diversity or remote work.

Are there any succession concerns? (No depth in positions, lack of developmental programs, etc.)

6. Overall summary of the workforce plan that you have developed and its Implications for the business.
