Your organisation has recently developed three (3) workplace objectives tailored towards increased diversity and inclusivity. You have been assigned the responsibility of joining a project team that will design, develop, implement, and evaluate diversity and inclusivity policies, procedures, and strategies that help the organisation meet its objectives.
The workplace objectives are:
- Implement a diversity training program for all client-facing employees and their line managers
- Assess the level of diversity among employees and clients as well as the presence of any barriers
- Improve accessibility to the office building and to digital resources for employees and clients with disabilities
You may choose one (1) workplace objective to focus on, and the others will go to different members of your team. You are responsible for designing potential diversity strategies that addresses this workplace objective and reporting this to upper management. You must also create standardised measures to evaluate the outcomes of your strategy and the strategies, policies, and procedures developed by your project team. Finally, you are to reflect on your decisions throughout the project and the factors that may have influenced your responses.
