Assignment:

Develop an action plan to address the CEO's concerns about motivating and engaging existing employees during organizational changes. Be sure to address the following in your project:

Part I:

• Synthesize positive organizational practices from the case studies in this week's Learning Resources.
• Articulate the significance of the various positive practices and how they were implemented to improve employee engagement.
• Explain how personality, job attitudes, and motivation may affect the degree to which an employee is engaged.

Part II: Employee Engagement Plan

• Read the scenario in the introduction to this assignment. Assess the current state of employee engagement in the system. In your assessment, explain why employees may be unmotivated and disengaged.
• Describe specific steps the CEO could take to improve employee engagement and explain why each grade would be practical. Be sure to incorporate what you have learned about personality, job attitudes, motivation, and positive organizational practices in the steps you recommend.
• Explain how an employee engagement initiative can create positive deviant performance among the bank employees.
