In this essay, you will assess your stress management techniques. In your essay, discuss your answers to the following questions:

Do any of your stress management techniques have negative consequences (e.g., stress eating, using substances such as alcohol or marijuana, or repressive coping)? If so, what are those negative consequences?

Are you interested in trying any of the stress management techniques mentioned in the book (e.g., repressive coping, Stress-inoculation training, Biofeedback)? If so, which ones and why? If you are not interested in trying any of the techniques in the book, why not?

This is an informal essay, not a research paper, so you do not need to cite any outside sources or write the essay in any particular format (MLA, APA, etc.). It should take about 400-500 words to fully respond to the questions above, but this is just an approximation. However, if you are going way below this word approximation, you probably are giving minimal responses and likely need to elaborate on your answers to the above questions a bit for full credit. Hopefully, this essay will get you thinking about how you cope with stress and whether or not you need to modify these techniques to optimize your mental and physical health.
