Research Topic- Assessment of various working model in terms of productivity, feasibility and organizational benefits.
Research question- Is it necessary and feasible for organizations to adopt new working model post COVID pandemic
Research objective-
a) To assess the feasibility and productivity of workplace centric work model for the organization post COVID impact.
b) To assess the productivity, feasibility and benefits of hybrid/flexible work model post Covid pandemic
c) To assess the employees sentiment and acceptability to the different working models.
d) To assess the staffing and HR challenges in different working models.
Literature review
Coronavirus pandemic has greatly impacted the working of the organizations. During pandemic, many organizations were forced to adopt work from home model for its employees. This forced change has brought change in perspective of both employees and employers in regard to work model. According to Rourke (2021), the organization need to adapt new workplace model that mitigate health and well-being risks for employees and at same time meet productivity requirements of the organization.
Similarly, Kulik (2022) also asserts that HR need to develop ‘next normal' workplace for the employees post pandemic as new practices implemented during pandemic has introduced drastic changes to work-employer and employee relationship.
This reflects that it is important to identify and understand ‘the new workplace and working model' to assess its challenges and benefits for the HR and organizations.
Research Methodology- The aim is to use qualitative and quantitative research methods to collect data and information from various organizations and HR with descriptive research design. However in case primary data sources are unavailable, the secondary data and literature will be reviewed through meta-analysis design approach for a systematic evaluation to reach research outcome.
