Question - Bundles of His is a traveling non-profit organization that is based in the small town of Hartsville in South Carolina. The usually serve that community that is around them reguardless of age, race, gender, and so on. They provide clothing, food, and toiletries.
The social impact Bundles of His has on the community is that they are able to provide for people in need. Their goal is to provide for as many people has they can so they can have what they're in need of. They also attend travel to local schools and hold functions there so the children can be attended for. The ecomonic impact Bundles of His has on the community is that the organization is based soley off donations so they don't charge for anything. People are able to get what they need at no cost to them. "The structure of the population determines the way the supply and demand of goods and services can change." (Duro 2018) Since the population of Hartsville is below the poverty rate in some parts, the organization best provides to its community by giving them free products.
The only negative social impact I can think of is that because Bundles of His is a mobile company it may be hard for people to find them when they need them instead of them having a permanent location. This might turn people away from the organization as a whole.
The social and economic impact of Bundles of His shape my perception and other's perceptions in a positive light. They find ways to provide for the community at no cost to them or the customer. I continue to support them because I believe in what they stand for and that is taking care of others.
