Artist Presentation

You will pick an artist from the list passed around during class time and deliver a 3-5 minute presentation on their artwork. You are responsible for writing down and remembering your artist and presentation date.

Rough Outline for the presentation:

1-2 minutes- About the artist- summarize what you find through your research.

Where were they from? What kind of art did they make? Why are they considered significant? Is there a cool story about this artist? 1-2 minutes- Talk about one or a few of their artworks.

Why is this artwork important? How does it relate to the culture it was made in? How did the work change through the artist's career? 1 minute- Sum it up with your personal feelings about the artist and their artwork.

You were assigned this artist, you don't have to like them, so let us know how you feel about them and their work. Explain why.

Guidelines:

Presentation must be between 3-5 minutes.

All presentations should be shared with me via Google Drive as a google slides file or PPTX.
