FINAL CASE STUDY
Mario Santos has been working as a Front Desk Associate in Universal Hotel for over 3 years. He was hired on February 1, 2019. On May 31, 2022, he was caught by the Finance Auditor, using the cashier fund issued to him for personal purpose. He admitted that there were times that he would get money from the fund to support his needs. This incident was reported to the Human Resources. Your group is the HR Department of Universal Hotel and you are about to come up with a recommendation on what to do about this case, based on what you have learned from LEGASTH regarding Book W of the Labor Code a The 1987 Constitution. You have checked the file of Mario and found records of Annual Performance Evaluation in the past years (2020 8: 2021) and they showed above average performance for 2 consecutive years. There is also record of disciplinary action on Mario with regards to his tardiness at work on July 2021.
