Assignment:

Customer Value is defined by the textbook as the difference between the benefits that a customer sees from a marketing offering and the costs of obtaining the same benefits. We tend to be the "target market" for items that we value more than most. For these products/services of value we tend to see the marketing offering as more closely aligned to our needs and therefore spend either more dollars per sale and/or in total than the average customer.
