The property could be sold or rented to a single organization or split up among many organizations. It would also be possible to reserve part of the building to house organizations that provide important social services.

Another option is to convert the building into a community center. The town of Surette has few such options available, and citizens have been requesting public facilities that offer social and athletic programs. Several corporate sponsors have expressed interest in funding the conversion of the building in return for naming rights to the building. As a community center, the building could also host events that could generate revenue for the town.
