The Tampa Bay (FLA) Area Chamber of Commerce wished to know whether mean weekly salary of nurses was larger than that of school teachers. It is thought that historic variances of each groups weekly salary are not same. To investigate, they gathered salary information on amounts earned last week by sample of school teachers and nurses. Data can be found on our Excel worksheet.

Is it sensible to conclude that mean weekly salary of school teachers is lower at .05 level of significance? Explain why?
