POPs, COPS, and Zero-Tolerance Police Criminal Justice Policies
Community-oriented policing (COPS), problem-oriented policing (POPs), and the zero-tolerance policing concepts are three criminal justice policy initiatives that were a major change from the traditional policing concepts of the 1970s.
DIRECTIONS: Select one of these three policy initiatives, and examine the positives and negatives of the approach.
