Applied Project
Students will develop a presentation for a panel of prospective investors, to address a specific problem in a target audience. The presentation may be in the form of a report, a slide show, a video, or other media. Be creative and remember that your goal is to convince the panel that your plan is worth the investment.
A presentation to come up with a 'solution' or 'businesses for the target population while addressing the needs of the population. Make sure the analysis includes these questions:
? Are the plans for the facility innovative?
? Is there a market for this type of facility?
? Will this serve a need in the community?
? Is there a leadership plan in place?
? Does the presentation considered all aspects of care that may be needed?
? Is sufficient attention paid to regulation and financing considerations?
? Is there a sound plan for ensuring quality and ethical behavior?
? Are you confident that this presenter could implement the plan based on the clarity of their ideas and the quality of their presentation?
Your target population is young adults, age 18 - 35, who have either a developmental or physical disability which renders them incapable of taking care of themselves properly at home. When creating your community, please take into account the following needs, as they pertain specifically to your population.
