What claims are made? Who do you think the intended audience is, and why do you think this? How does the description fit (or not fit) with the findings of Kathy Peiss's article on cosmetics? Your answer should take into account the historical contexts. Note that your essay should discuss the texts, not your personal views of these cosmetics. With your essay, include a printout of BOTH advertisements.
