Karen Jarvis, a director of sales, Hal Boynton, president have responded to Kim’s request for a meeting. Kim has been with the company for over 15 years, compared to an average of 6 years of other employees. Kim has begun to feel underpaid as far her own living expenses begin to increase and is demanding a raise from Karen and Hal, arguing that she has to maintain her current lifestyle, she has seniority over everyone and, she always goes beyond the call of duty.
