A variety of teaching strategies can be used to enhance participant success. Most instructors use a mix of techniques. In this three-part practical assignment, you'll practice the techniques, describe different combinations and teach them to a partner. Explore the most common teaching strategies with the activities in the Resources Tab below. Choose 3 different exercises to teach to a partner using the slow-to-fast method, the repetition reduction method, and the part to whole method. Using the examples below write down your combinations to turn in on your outline. Finally, teach your combinations to a partner using these methods. As partners, discuss your creations.

After meeting with your partner, submit your outline of the methods and exercises you presented to your partner. You'll also write down the exercises and teaching strategies your partner presented to you.

Your outline should include:

1. The moves/exercises you presented to your partner and an appropriate teaching strategy used.

2. Use the examples in the resource tab to break down the moves using the teaching strategies.

3. Partner's name

4. Exercises your partner demonstrated, and their teaching strategies chosen.
